A stroll with a pit stop for delicious scotch eggs in Sands End, Fulham

I live in the Sands End area of Fulham by the river. It’s a great place as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Parsons Green and still has a vibrant, local village-like familiarity to it.

My favourite way to spend a sunny afternoon is to take Bumble, my mini wirehaired dachshund to South Park on a walk through the blossom trees and grab a fresh orange juice from the Pagalaccio’s mobile cafe by the tennis courts. I then stop off at Randalls Butchers on the Wandsworth Bridge Road to buy something delicious and fresh for Sunday lunch, laughing at Bumble’s little nose pressed against the window as he drools at all their produce!

Walking back home down the Wandsworth Bridge Road, I pop into Ian Mankin to browse through their amazing fabrics. I always end up buying far too much but then happily spend the next day making lots of new things for the house. Lastly, I would stop off at The Sands End pub to pick up one of their incredible scotch eggs for my husband – his favourite!
